Marketing: What to do with your left over Conference CD-ROMs or books

Stop throwing away your extra print and CD copies. There are many things you can use these for. Find out what many of our customers are doing today to make use of “the leftovers.” In fact, some customers order extra copies just to promote their meetings since the cost for a hundred more units is really academic.

  1. Provide them to future speakers or conference chairpersons as a means to show them how their content will be published.
  2. Give them to new members to demonstrate the type of content shared at your meetings and entice them to attend the next meeting.
  3. Use them as a means to market next year's conference (e.g. Last year's content on CD free to meeting registrants while supplies last.
  4. Donate them to universities or colleges.
  5. Sell them to those who do not attend and earn non-dues revenue.
